Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to all companies and or persons or other entities (“you”) that are attending a workshop (“Workshop”) by Scribble Cat Studios (“we” or “us”). Please ensure you have read and understand the following:
Acceptance of terms and conditions
By completing a registration form and booking a particular workshop, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set out below (“Terms”) and they will be incorporated into the contract between us (“Contract”). You will ensure that your employees, partners, agents, contractors, subcontractors, and any other person attending the Workshop on your behalf shall comply with these Terms. The Contract is formed when we send you a booking confirmation.
Payment
The fee for attending the Workshop will be as stated on the registration form for the relevant Workshop. All payments for the booking must be made in full prior to the date of the Workshop.
Refunds
All tickets for the Workshop shall be non-refundable. However, you are free to reschedule up until 5 days before the date of the workshop. Any request to withdraw or to reschedule the workshop booking must be in writing via email.
Cancellation
Classes may be cancelled by us due to unforeseen events such as an injury, accidents, or illness of the tutor, in this case a replacement class or credit will be offered.

Scribble Cat Studios will not be liable for any damages, costs, losses, or expenses of any kind incurred or suffered by you/participants because of or in relation to Scribble Cat Studios modifying, postponing, or cancelling the workshop or any part of the workshop.

Acceptable Behaviour
Scribble Cat Studios reserves the right, without any liability, to refuse admission to, or to eject participants from the workshop who represent a security risk, nuisance, or annoyance to the running of the workshop. We shall not be liable for a refund or any other payment.

We don't allow any racist, sexist, or violent behaviour in our classes.

You/Participants may not bring any equipment or items of a hazardous or dangerous nature to the Workshop.
You shall not cause any damage to any part of the venue (including outside areas, and all inside walls, flooring, fixtures, and fittings). You are solely liable for any damage caused by you, your employees, contractors, sub-contractors, and agents to any such area of the venue and shall fully reimburse any damage so caused.
You must always keep your personal belongings with you, and we accept no liability for any damage to, loss of or theft of any of your belongings or other items brought to the Workshop by you.

You/Participants need to arrive punctual to the workshop, so you/they don't miss any significant content of the workshop. We are not responsible if you/participants miss content due to their delayed arrival.

Scribble Cat Studios will not be held responsible for the safety of you/participants travelling to and from the event location, at the location, and to and from any outdoor activities such as field trips.
​
Class video and audio recordings and copying of the class lessons for commercial reasons are not permitted.
​
You/Participants are to take home all work completed in class, no work or materials are to be left behind.
​
You/Participants might be photographed during class time for promotion on our website or social media. Please let us know if you have any concerns.

Force Majeure
Where an unavoidable or unforeseen interruption occurs to the courses and Scribble Cat Studios may not be able to meet its obligations for instance in the case of closure due to disease, government direction or health department direction.
We will aim to reschedule the class or deliver the class online via zoom. We will not provide a refund and a credit cannot be guaranteed, because of the hardship also experienced by Scribble Cat Studios.

Privacy
Scribble Cat Studios is committed to protecting your privacy and the confidentiality and the security of personal information provided by you, we will not sell the information to third parties. The personal information you provide is necessary to process your booking form which may include updating your record and profile information. We may use your personal information to contact you about professional development and associated events.
