Scribble Cat Studios offers fun and unique drawing and illustration classes for young artists age 8 to 12! The classes are perfect for kids and teens that love to create and draw and would like to learn some expert tricks and methods to improve their realistic drawing skills. In our supporting studio environment kids and teens can explore a variety of materials and learn the fundamental principles of drawing, illustration and visual storytelling. The sessions are designed for all skill levels, everyone is welcome in our very relaxed, casual and friendly class. We will work on various exciting projects: from realistic drawing topics like drawing animals to imaginative Manga/Anime & comic book illustration. The choice is yours! At Scribble Cat Studios you will learn some important drawing skills to develop your work like a professional artist. You also can apply them to your future artworks at home and at school. The experienced artist and tutor of this class is a working with children check cardholder. MATERIALS You only need to bring basic materials: sketch pad suitable for drawing (A4 or A3), pencils, eraser, sharpener. We will provide material for colouring. HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE: We are focusing on traditional art making and hand drawing/non-digital drawing! Through this physical and tactile experience, you will get a broader view how this material can be used and the physical creation will improve your hand-eye coordination as well as motor skills. Furthermore, traditional artworks are hard to copy, each handmade creation will show your personal style and will be truly unique! DURATION: 1.5 h
