About the Founder
Get to know Mara:
Scribble Cat Studios is founded by Dr Mara Jordan, a European trained artist and design educator with over two decades of professional experience. Mara has applied her creative skills across a wide range of projects, from fine art, illustration, and conceptual design to animated film and video production.
Over the last eleven years she has supervised, lectured and co-ordinated classes at the faculty of art, design, and architecture at Monash University (Melbourne). She holds a PhD in multimedia design, researching traditional narratives and their adaptations in film, animation and modern media.​​

Mara has developed a very engaging and effective teaching method, incorporating her expertise in storytelling. Her goal is not only to help students to improve technical and conceptual skills, but also to provide them with distinctive methods to achieve individual growth as an artist.
